He really thinks that everything wrong in his life's been solved now that he's "normal" and thinks he doesn't need Lex anymore...I feel so sorry for him.
Denial is not only a river in Egypt. Clark is living in some true to life Jerry Springer-talk showesque denial. Lex is the only force that can get him back to the path. God bless fic. No matter how fucked they make Clark and Lex, fic will always be there to truly make Clark feel normal.
