There are too many ways in which these two should be friends and not enough ways that they should be enemies. The show makes Clark look damn bad right now. If the end comes down to "Lex went evil because Clark was an asshole" that's hardly the foundation Superman should have.

It does make an interesting premise for fics though. *g*
