Go AI! The AI's implacability is just great, but I particularly love Lex's reaction to Clark's truth:

"We’re not out here all alone on our spinning ball of dirt.” He took a step towards Clark and rested his fingertips lightly on his arm. “We have neighbors,” he laughed.

Considering Lex's mental state prior to this part, his open-minded acceptence is all the more sweet. As is Lex's request that Clark stay until he falls asleep.

I almost can't figure out which is the sweetest part.
