I love that Lex and Clark are talking and how still very naive that Clark still is about the level of Lucas sanity. It would be funny if not kind of sad - really having Lex call Lucas and just tell him that he's not coming back, yeah that will work. ;)
I feel bad for Lex, because I can see Lucas doing something really really bad and maybe even hurting Superman/Clark really really badly and Lex being forced to choose to go back to Lucas to save lives (again). But Lex is really still very fragile and if Clark is hurt so badly that Lex sacrifices himself to save his life, Lex might not survive what Lucas does to him when he gets back into Lucas's hands. Depending on how far Clark gets in convincing Lex that he is loved and wanted by Clark, Lex may not even be able to suffer Lucas's touch. Not a good situation for Lex.
Well it is certainly nice to see some manifest Crazy!!Lucas action - but I do believe Metropolis is going to burn.
