Wed 100: closet
1/5/06 03:06 amComfort had been sitting in the dark, reading comics by the light of a mini-maglite, the oddly soothing smell of a dozen different fragrances filling his nose, still tender scalp brushed by suede and wool—smells that had felt like home—alone, content in his cedar lined womb….
Now, on top of that sense memory, he’d also have the memory of a faintly bleachy, musky smell and taste on his tongue and the thought of being in the closet now made him laugh more than having his tie looped around his wrists and his mouth full.
No maglite needed….
