I admit it wasn't until "Supernatural" that I felt it. I'd seen him in GG and wasn't really a fan, figured it was because of him. Turns out, it was the character I didn't like. It took Sam Winchester for me to understand the draw. And now when I go back and see Jared...I see the magic. I didn't at first, but maybe it's just that he grows on you.
To be honest, I think it IS his averageness (is that a word?) that attracts us. He's the cute boy next door. Not like Tommy, who is older and married. And did I mention married? And yeah, he's...married. He acts like he's freaking 40, so serious and married and all. Jared is the average cutie-pie, and he's a cut-up, especially around Jensen. Wait, wait, that's it! THAT'S what I love. I love Jared when Jensen's around. Maybe it's that they bring out the playfulness in each other. But those two come alive when they're together, not just on the show but off it as well. It's magic.
And by the way? Your little "waiting in line to buy coffee" scenario cracked me up. Cracked me UP!
