I'm reading some old stuff of mine and freaking myself out. I really have some odd issues. In fact, I think I'm kind of a weirdo. Excuse me? What was that?

I'm mean to children, I'm mean to people in love, I torture people endlessly and everyone in my stories lie to each other all the time. They never pay attention to each other and they always suspect the worse of each other. On the positive tip--ah. Hmmm. True love almost always wins out? Pretty sure about that anyway. *grin*

Oh yeah! Always a happy ending here, you can count on that. In fact, I would have named Story Time "Happy Ending", but I didn't want you guys to think that I was going to massage ya'll and end it up with some kinda sex act. 'Cause my hands get all achy real fast these days. And, you know, with all the massaging...owie.

You know, it's awful how interesting I am to myself. *snort*

I've come to the conclusion that everyone is a wierdo. If you can't see it, it's just because you don't know them well enough. ;)

As for meaness - eh. I was thinking yesterday about melodrama - which, to be really honest, I think a lot of fanfic is - and about how pulling pushing emotions can be really satisfying. I like stories and movies and TV that really explores the emotional resolution of things; doesn't just say, "Oh. I see now. Okay." and then moves on.

I like the same things in fanfic. I like to read the hurty things and see them explored (ideally in as emotionally dramatic way as possible) before resolution. I get bored with the easy happy ending.

And, yes. My favorite ride is the rollercoaster.

People in love deserves to have the piss taken out of them!

See, that's what we're banking for.

But we were expecting the Happy Ending sex act! You've sold us a bill of goods, woman!

It's weird what you end up writing. I *hate* reading torture, and yet I managed to cut Clark open and take little pieces of his heart out (*literally*). Muses can sometimes get away from us.

But you have to know that we love your stories for your torture. Angst can be wonderful, especially if it's eventually made better. H/C is my favourite thing ever!
