Holy shit! Here I was going along thinking, wow, this is lyrical and lovely and some sort of alienClark mating thing, I'm really enjoying this, when is it getting to the Clex, oh yay! and THEN the ending! The ending! SO disturbing! Eek! Pardon all the exclamation points, but damn. That was a twist I was not expecting.
