I love writing--or I should say, I love telling a story. I'm happy when other people play along and read the stories. I'm always startled if someone says I influence them to write--it's a shock, but good one. If I'm helping you, than I'm amazed and very pleased because I think you're excellent!
I think that at times, I love Bruce best of all. He's good to write because he's a good person, with all these conflicting bits about him.
I know this is a long time after you originally posted this, but I thought you'd still like to read a comment.
Trust me on this--it's never to late to get feedback on a story, never! ;)
