THank you so much! I did want to write an entertaining story, and I'm going for laughs, certainly but I always think about Clark as an alien first. When I write him that's always in my mind--how different the world must be for him, living this dual life, never knowing exactaly what's going to happen because he has this heritage he knows nothing about. Anything could happen to him at any time and has, so he can't take life for granted. In a really weird way, I identify with him becuase I'm of mixed heritage, and old enough to be of a time when passing was nearly expected. I never did, but know people who did pass, and I always thought how horrible it must be to live a lie every day...and what happens when the truth comes out?
Which is my long-winded and entirely too personal way of saying, I kind of think he should be experiencing this horror, poor thing.
