There are times when Clark is willfully STOOPID! Did he FORGET who LEX LUTHOR is? The man holds a grudge like nobody's business. Can we give Clark a maturity pill so he can empathise a bit with Lex's pov? I am going assume that Kryptonians never held grudges or weren't idiots. That's the only reason why he saw Lana again, right? Wait, these are the idiots that let their planet blow-up rather than listen to Jor-EL!
I totally agree with Lex for flattening Lana, and I understand dimly about the Persian room. Torching it was a bit over the top, but he was never going to darken its doors again and certainly never sit in that booth again...so why let anybody else. Hope he relocated the staff and chef with bonuses.
