i never understood that whole thing with people thinking retail people are buillt in babysitters, like just because we are employeed by the company, we're obligated for that shit. when i managed video stores, people would try and drop their kids off the whole damn day while they went shopping!! unbelieveable. i was always this close to calling the police or child protective services for an abandoned child. if they ever asked me, i would say no, i'm sorry, we can't be responisible for children in the store not supervised by a parent. the gall i tell you. *sigh*
