After I bemoaned yet AGAIN, Clark's "sawdust for brains" problem, I realized that Lois has a healthy sense of self preservation. She knows that in a grudge match with Lex, she'd lose. Plus, Clark thinks of her as a friend. That first kiss they try is gonna be "EWWW".
