Reeeeeeally lovin' this story, even went back and re-read from the beginning. Well worth savoring each chapter as if they were new again. :)

Wasn't sure if you had caught this or not but this sentence, there be a wee bit of a trip up in the flow:

I don’t think we can buy our way out of this one; police tend to look frown on mass murder.

Wasn't sure if you had intended to use look or if you had meant frown...probably frown though from the ending of the sentence.
