I know that in the end this is not going to backfire - CLex forever! - but Rip better be careful about the super secret planning. Jordan and Lex coupled with a Jealous!Clark is just a recipe for bodily harm (for Jordan - I'm just saying. Clark might finally decide to let go.)
I love the Reunion! of Lex and Rip - they are just so cute and I love their father daughter relationship.
I love that Rip is enough of a Luthor to think that Clark is wasting his abilities (that's even slightly Lionel of her, awwwww.)
I would suggest that Rip stop asking Kryptonian birds and bees questions - it will only lead to trauma (probably not as much trauma as Clark had, but really who is ever as traumatized as Clark).
Finally, I am actually looking forward to learning how Lex and Clark work their ways back to each other [depending of how much more of this lovely story we can enjoy :-)] - both of them seem much more grown-up and dare I say almost equals (in maturity and outlook). It promises to be an interesting re-courtship. [depending of how much more of this lovely story we can enjoy :-)]
...Her head ached, her eyes burned. She rubbed them and rubbed them. Ick. They felt gritty yet sticky. She peered at herself again. And they were all red. Great. She looked like she'd been on a crying jag, even her nose was red. -- so it's just strong emotions and not hot for teacher?!? Yay for Rip, kinda....
She smiled. They were cute together. Sometimes she even thought they'd be a cute couple. Even Dad must think so, she thought. Or he wouldn't ask about them so often lately. And she was totally not above using that. She rinsed and ran back to her bed. She lay back, grabbed her book and planted her feet on the wall. Yeah. She could totally make that work.... -- Dun dun dun!!!
