The other day a LJ user, I can't recall her name, was asking for fics that portrayed Clark as the favourite parent of Clex kids. I couldn't think of any to rec. There are many fics that have Lex as the parent their kids love or trust more than Clark, which, IMO, is quite unfair to Clark, since he is really great to kids on the show, more so than Lex. I find it sad. :(
I'm glad Ripley loves Clark here. And I'm so very glad one of my favourite authors ever empathize with Clark!
