He hoped she didn't have some Parent Trap fantasy going on. He smiled a little. He almost didn't put it past her to have manufactured this biological emergency, just to get the two of them in the same room for longer than a few minu-oh shit. Would she? No, no! Of course not.... No, really, she wouldn't.
- Is that realization creeping up on the Clarkster?!?!?
Okay, he'd been an enormous asshole-concerning the way he'd left. But if he'd never left, where would he be now? Probably buried under Lex, absorbed by him, through no fault of Lex's. Clark knew that kid had been totally willing, even eager, to let Lex take care of every aspect of his life. It would only have gotten worse and worse...he sighed.
- All right, I guess Clark is right - he left for good/bad reasons, but he is probably correct in thinking that he was very green when he was first with Lex and really did need an opportunity to grow up and become less sheltered and take care of himself. Still Lex = sad, not cool.
"Oh, gosh, right! I forgot. Talk to you later...Greg." She smiled, her eyes sparkled, and Clark's heart dropped. Oh-oh. *Now*, he got it...Greg. Oh boy. Lex was going to explode. Clark suddenly grinned. Lex was going to *explode*!
- HeeHeeHee!
- Lex, oh Lex - fun times on so many fronts. He thought Clark was the worst of it - HA!
Lex practiced breathing in the limo, all the way to the club. He closed his eyes, and inhaled, and saw bright red, tight bright red, tight bright red tee shirt, hole...He shook his head and growled under his breath.
- HEEHEEHEE!!!!
...They switched off-it kept their meetings fresh. Four years, and he was quite comfortable with Aaron's choices. He was pleasant, intelligent and unassuming and insanely attractive. These once a month visits kept him...sane. And safe, and without them he'd-well, he wasn't sure what he'd do.
- Oh, Lex. Once a month - ohhh, sad.... Having Clark around is just going to drive him nuts being under foot, isn't he??
Well, they are slowly moving towards each other - that's good right?
