Hmmmm, my first thought about this chapter was that I really don't like the fact that Clark thinks of himself as an asshole for leaving Lex after he discovered Lex killed *for* him and burned property to the ground. I can't imagine how he'd feel that he was the one in the wrong for leaving that type of person.
However, I still adore the way you are writing Lex and his complete obsession over Clark, even after all this time. Poor Lex knows that no matter how good looking Aaron is or fabulous he is in bed, he can't compete with the person in Lex's heart. I love that Lex prepared Clark's room and his bathroom. I think its adorable that Lex loves Clark this much. And Clark, so so funny! I adored his realization in the very first paragraph that Ripley has set up a Parent Trap situation for he and Lex. God bless him but he's adorable when the light bulb goes on!
