Roxy, is it just me or can you not see Gus bottoming either? I have been wondering about this because a lot of the Psych slash I read has Gus catching and I just can't see it.

You know, this is weird, but actually, yes, I can kind of see it. I watched them (the last ep) a few times, and I think it's possible. But mostly because Shawn is unnstoppable, and I can see Gus almost kind of confused into it. Gus doesn't seem aa very bottomy bottom, but Shawn definitly strikes me as a top. Maybe Gus bottoms just for him? What's your take?

I see what you mean about Shawn being unstoppable, but Gus seems to (mostly) hold his own with Shawn. I guess Gus just seems too vocal and pushy to me.

Truth is, Shawn does seem like a top. Maybe neither of them bottom. Maybe they just do blowjobs and handjobs. Hell, maybe they double-team girls while watching each other.

Maybe they do trade off. I think the reason why this is bothering me so much is that Psych is the first (of roughly 3) fandoms in which I can't see even one member of my OTP bottoming. In SV, I can see Lex doing all kinds of crazy shit because he is just very sexual. I can see Clark doing all kinds of crazy shit because he is repressed in many of his life's aspects, and in my mind, he would do anything for Lex.

I am going to do some thinking about this. And if you would like to write that lovely pre-slash bunny, feel free. I am just trudging through the writing of my first clex story, so I am not ready to write Shawn/Gus quite yet.

I wish I could write it--I don't seem to be able to write outside of SV and BtVS. I do like those boys, though. who knows?
