I think Clark is extremely amazing in this fiction. Here he is, ready to give his relationship with Lex another try, and Lex is giving him the cold shoulder. Because why exactly? He's hurt Clark left him all those years ago? Well, if Clark is willing to forgive the issue that drove him away, I think Lex needs to come to grips with his forgiveness and forgive himself as well. He's kicking his own ass right now and turning away the one person he honestly needs in order to breath, to live, to smile (other than Ripley). I'm very eager to see how Lex manages to open up and how Clark worms his adorable big self back into Lex's life. Lex already holds Clark closely to his heart, now he just needs to allow him to be a part of his life once again. Stubborn bugger.
