No, no! this is the fun part! Everyone has a slightly different take on their favorite characters, so sometimes the way I write Clark for instance, might seem odd to the reader. I believe that almost any interpretation is valid because while we all see the broad strokes of the character on the show--we each fill out the nuances of character according to our own feeling. [at least I think so :)]
I hope Lex realizes that it's not a question of what he "wants", but of what Alexandra needs. Clark must have a saying in that too! I think he'll begin to realize that too. He invited Clark to come, despite his fears, for Rip's sake.
Don't ever worry about asking me questions for goodness sakes! I have all my tantrums off line, never fear! *GRIN*
