Disneypocalypse!!

Last night, I had a dream about the apocalypse. Or something like it. I was standing in the living room of some place supposed to be my home. Mr. Roxy, BG and my mother, of all things--that was the nice part of the dream. Anyway, there was a river of blood in the sky, and it was spreading, we could see it through the large picture window, and then came a rain of birds, kind of thing--it was like the prophecy of the apocalypse only slightly garbled. So these birds were at first penguins--don't laugh, some of them were kind of scary looking--until they suddenly all became Disney style penguins. Just as I was starting to think, “hold on a min--penguins don't fly,” they turned into Disney birds, all feathery and bright and cheerful, except that they were crashing into things and smacking into the glass with 'ew' results. Also, there were flying whales. They looked kind of like the whale from Pinocchio. (don’t ask, me and my subconscious don't talk much.) At that point, I knew we were going to die, so I was hugging my mother, and right before I woke up, I thought, this is nice, to hug my mo again."
Weird, weird dream, and really kind of silly for being so scary. And let me tell you, looking up in the sky and seeing grinning whales floating around was scary as hell—really!!

I know, I know, my nightmares are kind of weiny sounding.

I couldn't help it, as soon as I read that I EXPLODED laughing...sorry.

And let me tell you, looking up in the sky and seeing grinning whales floating around was scary as hell—really!!

I had a dream yesterday that my dorm was attacked by terrorists (I guess in planes, I don't really recall) and I barely got out before the buildings collapsed and I didn't know where to go...

This is what I get for thinking so much about the anniversary of 9/11. Five years is, honestly, my entire adult life and my life has changed so much since then that I couldn't *not* think about it.

No not at all. I know I've had several apocalypse dreams from my teens to present and they are absolutely terrifying. Glad yours were more Disney-centric even if they did scare the bejesus out of you anyway.

Nightmares are just terrible no matter what they look like. I am sorry that you had one and I hope it never comes back. (And I have to say that I just... this layout that you have is so strange! You need to get Tommy and Mikey back in here. They'll keep the bad dreams (bunnies?) away!
