Oops, I've been doing a lot of flailing lately about my fics, but only on my own LJ. I certainly would never post anything to a community that I wasn't totally happy with, or as least as happy as I ever get about anything I write.
I must admit to waiting until someone comments on a fic before I link to a community, but that's so I can make sure that it **isn't* complete nonsense before I invite other people to read it. If it goes down like a lead balloon I can quietly forget I ever wrote it, and hope everyone else does too :)
