Like everyone else, I am really enjoying this story. You capture the essence of Clark's friendship with Pete, and the love he shares with his parents (and Buddy!) just beautifully, and -- even with all the pain Clark is going through -- you make me hopeful that everything will get better. (Well, eventually. After you're done with whatever terrible things are lurking just around the corner....)
