If I can find it, I'll get back to you, I didn't bookmark it, fool that I am. I gather that there was some controversy surrounding it when first mentioned.
The people holding the event were nearly run out of town on a rail, and the event was boycotted. As far as I can see, this is the only large fandom that doesn't have awards. I guess I can see why. I'm not much involved in fandom, at least in that way. I like writing, and I love the folks, but it's not that often I post anywhere besides SSA, so it's easy to keep pretty much on the sidelines of SV fandom. Sometimes I feel guilty for not participating more, but I think it's a good decision for me. (I lurked for so long, I still have a lurker mentality going on. :)
