Ah, poor Whitney. I really hope you're not going to send him into the military and kill him! But his father's illness and death is much more tragic now that I actually care for him as a character, so I suspect the next bit's going to be heartbreaking.
Can I just say that I love the Lana/Clark rivalry, here? She's much more interesting when she's bitter. And hah, you are NOT going to get a happy ending here, Miss Princess.
