I am so glad that Whitney saved himself - with Smallville being the Mysterious Death Capital of the Midwest, I think that everyone has to get on with the business of making better decision so that they don't get dead.
right? i think by now, those folks are conditioned to just stand there and wait for the mysterious savior. Boy, the death rate in Smallville must have skyrocketed when Clark left for Metropolis!
