Why do I feel that this is the calm before the storm?!?! I can't imagine that Lana will be all that accommodating with Whitney skipping out on her during the prom or that she will help the process along. I can't even talk about poor Clark who is alone on a night like Prom (which for some is a very important night, especially if you ostensibly have a boyfriend.)
Although, I can't say that the encroaching distance doesn't bode well for my hope for some Lex action, now with less angst (not that Clark is ever angst free, but I can hope...)
