Seriously, you should be very proud of yourself. It took me a half hour to read this part, kept having to wipe my eyes. You created such a wonder, believable character in Whitney. I felt like I lost a friend. I was empty last night.
Instead of thinking of the sad part, I'll tell you what I did like. Clark finding Whit's engraved ring. That was beyond heartbreaking. And Fred... I think I love him just as much. He went against the typical jock stereotype. I loved that he helped Clark and knew Clark would appreciate Whit's jacket more than anyone.
