*hangs head* I pretty much figured everyone was waiting for the shoe to drop--I was surprised and flattered--just really floored by the reaction. I spent a lot of time cutting and rearranging bits so that it was less scene-chewing. I wanted it all to come out of Clark's reaction or non-reaction--to the event, and not the event itself. So--it kind of worked. I'm serious, though, I'm still sad. Silly me!
