I had to take a break from this for a little while. Not because I wanted to, really, but because it was just hard to sit back and see where you were driving us. Now -- I want to look out the window. (Just to keep the metaphor going, lol.)
I liked this bit all on its own. Why? Crazy Lucas all over Lex (god, that made me laugh) and Lionel dies ignominously in the gutter. And Lex's “We are so fucked.” But are they? Somehow, maybe, they'll pull through. There's the hope it will happen.
