I rummaged around a little, and apparently people have been wondering whether Jorja Fox is pregnant ever since about '03. It's probably just the way she's built.

The Surprise!Gil-and-Sara-in-bed scene had me LOL when I watched it. It wasn't quite as WTF as 90% of the "plot" developments in a typical episode of Smallville, but it was close.
