I'm really sick of people arguing that Lana can't die because it's not canon. They only claim canon when they want to justify something.
In canon, Lex doesn't have an invisable brother. In canon, he grew up poor and boomed his parents, not his father. In canon, Chloe doesn't exist. In canon, Lana wasn't a witch. In canon, Lois doesn't meet Clark until he goes to work at the Planet with her. In canon, Clark's father doesn't die when he's still a teen. In canon Lex is in love with Lois, not Lana. In canon, NOBODY CARES ABOUT LANA. In canon, Superman doesn't KILL people. He doesn't off other aliens and doesn't off humans! *freaks out about how non-canon this series is*
