if there's a little lock at the top of a post, doesn't that mean it's filtered and only the people on the filter can read it? Or no?

See--this is why my LJ is an open book. I'm too challenged to do otherwise.
All the really nasty stuff is on my secret journal....

Yes, the lock means it's only visible to the selected filter. By default, that's your flist, but you can make different filters specifying certain people.

I always panic that my filters won't work lol. But yeah, if you click on the entry, it should still say filtered
