Wow, you've made Whitney's feelings here completely believable. I always kind of felt like, on the show, they dismissed Whitney and the scarecrow thing a little too easily. I mean, he must have felt something besides jealousy about Lana, especially later on in the series when he and Clark became at least friendly.
Clark's reaction to Whitney getting closer to Lex breaks my heart. Poor kid doesn't understand what's going on. I'm really interested to see where you take this, and I must admit that I'm heartened by the promise of a happy ending.
