This story is gut wrenching. The imagery being mirrored from the beginning to the rescue scene was beautifully done. Whitney was able to experience the taunt and mistreatment from both angles. I think it signified a true re-birthing for Whitney that was solidified when Lex brought him home and told him he could restart everything. Having Clark continue to be the only one in both their lives who is aware of all the history is like the lemon juice on the paper cut.

I also liked how Whitney is still acknowledging that he needs Clark to continue to watch over Lex. He see's himself aging and withering away slowly and Lex staying vibrant and youthful.

I love this story!!
