Yeah, I liked that Clark finally did get some. When you think about it, it's kind of crazy. He's 20 and he's just...can never get laid. How does he deal? He was still reluctant to try until Lana literally pushed him against that post.
I love that Lex is so comfortable in Clark's house, and not only that, but watching him if you recall the p.ov. shot before Lex showed himself. Hot. Ditto Clark still comfortable in Lex's mansion and not even being walked in the last two episodes.
It galls me beyond all belief that Clark takes Lionel into his confidence--it's stupid, it's as if the boy doesn't have a brain or an ounce of self-preservation.
But they've all but literally conflated Jor-El and Lionel now (actually they literally did in Hidden, which commenced Lionel holding the key information for Clark since then). Clark's literally been forced, in the last two seasons, to go to Lionel for sensitive information and extraterrestrial issues that only he (or Martha and Chloe) can help him with. And Lionel has been all too willing to help. Lionel is not "good", nor is he flat out evil at this point; he's no longer at either simple extreme. Clark is going to have to make alliances or have detentes with people on different moral planes in order to get things done (he learned that wrt Ollie, and recently demonstrated a willingness to continue a detente with Lex in Action). I don't think it's stupid considering the build up the last two seasons or from a pragmatic perspective (as long as Lionel doesn't devolve back to S3!evil-Lionel).
About Lana...I really wonder, especially in light of the blatant Lillian parallel last ep (who seemed to have post partum psychosis) and Lionel's "disturbed" comment, if they're going to go with the insanity route, because of the hormones that were pumped into her. Because it *is* a radical change, which is why I didn't fault Clark and Chloe for not jumping to crazy ass conclusions about her (because they are CRAZY ASS leaps relative to who Lana used to be).
