today, I stuffed my nostrils full of lotion imbued tissues (or so they claim--they have the texture of burlap as far as I'm concerned) opened my stories, all of them--and then played with the lj galleries--added lots more of my cover arts and illustrations made for me to story art gallery, organized some tags, and changed the lj layout to another predigested-and-ready-to-go one, dicked around hither and yon, and changed maybe one word on each story. Ah well. But just to show that I'm serious, let me show you the beautiful cover [livejournal.com profile] danceswithgary made for East of The Sun. Because it's kewl!

Say, if anyone's interested, that Stand crossover is gangs of fun to write! Wooo-hooo--HACK!HACK!...oy.

yes, and no. It's set in the same world, but so far, I doubt that he'll meet any of King's characters.

hunh. Interesting--it kind of reminds me of the Beatles in a way. I like it. And mind you, this is coming from the person who was in love with Paul Wall for a summer or two. *G*.

i don't know anything about the Stand, but a new story from you is always something to be glad of! (in fact, i just clicked on your Clex link and found some i'd never run across before, w00t! like Stand by Me, which i'll read later. can't resist lex with 'shopped-on red hair.)

i hope you feel better soon!

oh, The Stand is a great, great story about Good and Evil and icky icky stuff from Steven King. I'm not even going to try and recreate anything King did, I'm just going to toss Lex in one tiny part of the story way off over here in AU land, and see what happens. Though judging from [livejournal.com profile] dancinbutterfly's comments, I'm going to be disappointing a lot of folks. :)

I *adore* your icon. See, that expression right there is why Mikey is always going to be on my hit parade.

I'm doing good, actually. Had a lovely xmas holiday, saw my family, lounged around and ate good bread and cheese and watched funny tv and just...enjoyed.
:)

And now i'm just hanging out, my house nicely clean, anticipating seeing some friends later and *not* cooking any dinner. Yay!

I'm writing, of coz. Posting some spn - 'Song of the Treadmill' - i can't off the top of my head say i remember you commenting so i don't...know if you have. Have you? I'm up to part eleven. Heh.
*cudgels brain*
Nope, can't remember.

Anyway - more wolfpack!spn, more spander, soon!

OH, honey, i know *exactly* how that is. I have *three* freakin' more days until i can be alone. I haven't had a moment alone since Monstrous got out of school. Hell, since the friday before that because that was the last day there was school and Cat was at work.
*flails around*
I am about *thisclose* to a meltdown.
*luffs you*

*nodnodnod* And the thing about kids is, though we love them completely, totally, madly, there are times when it's just--mental health to be away, and no matter how old they get, you can never, ever, ever say, "Mommy just doesn't want to see your precious little face at the moment, lovey-cakes." Because they won't understand, not even grown-up, they won't.

The kid keeps saying she wants to move, and I keep making the face that says no while my mouth says yes, lol! Who's crazy here? *g* On the real, I want her to be really really ready to move--'cause the minute she's out, we're turning her room into a hobby-guest room. *G*
