that was written in much the same way at this whitney ficlet -- just slamming it out. it's my favorite way to write, for some reason! i really admire your ability to write epic-length story arcs. i tend to run out of gas after a few chapters. it seems my specialty is little bits of off-kilterness. (as opposed to up-kilterness. *g*)
