Lovely talk between Lex and Bruce, even if Bruce was less substantial than Lex would have liked. Sad but beautiful bit with Mercy, too, though I'm going to miss her and Hope as much as Lex is. And I was grinning from ear to ear as Lex cussed out Jonathan Kent's ghost. *snorfles* Jonathan has long deserved to be told what an S.O.B. he is/was...and I notice that he still never bothered to apologize for being such a bastard to Lex, which is totally typical of the man. *kicks Jonathan, ghost or not* On the other hand, I am not all that happy to see Adam, even if his presence may help keep Lex stable for a time. I didn't like or trust Adam when he was on the show, and I don't like or trust him now, though I can't help hoping that the guy will wait for someone else to betray, rather than being one of the endless list who have betrayed Lex. *pets poor Lex* Great chapter! And I can't wait to see what's waiting in Smallville....
