Yow -- you're off to a great start with this one! I love the image of Alex playing gorgeous music with the band but never really being one of the group, and the rest of them just accepting that and not pushing for more. And I'm not at all surprised that Lionel tortured Lex all his young life, only to throw him out without a dime as soon as he realized that his son wasn't living up to the 'manly' Luthor image. *kicks Lionel* I like Lex's concern for Julian, still trapped under Lionel's thumb; maybe Lex can surreptitiously get in touch with his baby brother, now and then, but he really needs someone else in his life. Someone loyal and steady and caring, someone with black hair and green eyes.... *happy sigh* Beautiful images and atmosphere in this one -- I can hardly wait to see more!
