Oh, damn. Damn Damn Damn. I know this is a Clex piece, not Clitney, so I knew something was going to go horribly wrong, but I was hoping Clark and Whitney would get a little happiness before the inevitable betrayal. This part made me so sad for Clark.
(Though it was getting very very HOT right before the badness happened, and I am impressed with the historical detail about the 8-pagers/Tijuana Bibles. Do you have that book with the collection of them? I was fascinated when I first encountered them, because they're like early fanfiction, complete with porn!)
