Just once I want a story where Clark grows up happy and secure with his abilities. Unafraid that someone will cart him off for experiments or being damned for his differences. Not fearing someone will exploit him for nefarious purposes. He needs the freedom to be himself, not something hidden away as if he were a dirty secret.
I'm so glad he took that necklace off and left. If he weren't such a good boy at heart, I fear that he'd take revenge or just indulge his carnal appetites as if he were on redK. As it is, he takes joy in being able to see the world, without pain and as his abilities allow.
Poor Hannah. The only one I think who truly loves Clark unconditionally. Maybe someday she'll get to see her brother happy?
