Jonathan, poor man--he gets so much abuse in this fandom, and once again, I've manipulated things a bit to make him look bad. But the thing is, he really does think he's doing his best for Clark--he thinks it's his fault too, for letting Clark be more 'normal.'

If he weren't such a good boy at heart, I fear that he'd take revenge or just indulge his carnal appetites as if he were on redK.

I actually thought about that, but danceswithgary made me rethink that. I think it's best he didn't revenge himself on the boys. This whole story was originally much, much darker. I like this Clark, this good hearted person much better. The thing to remember though, is that eventually this boy is going to be Superman, and we're talking Golden age Superman. He was a lot less troubled by ethical issues than today's version. ;)
