Lovely description of Clark out on his own for the very first time, and I like the way his narrow escape from the train introduces him to his near-invulnerability. I really like Reggie, too, and the way he and the other hobos welcome Clark into their circle, even with all the hints of sorrow and loss. Poor guys.... *huggles Clark and Reggie and all the others*
