I smiled all the way through this, and I can't seem to stop! Clark is so cute, all shy and awkward, and then gathering up his courage; I just hope he'll hold out for Alex rather than letting Chloe trip him. *eg* And Chloe and Alex are adorable as friends, as are Alex and Pete. Hmmmm...this friend of Alex's wouldn't be the exception to his iron-clad rule, by any chance? *coughBrexcough* Lovely chapter!
