I think one of them could see the other in a certain situation and believe, or be led to believe, that there was cheating involved, even when that was not really the case.
I agree, I think they both have lovability issues. Neither one of them really believe they're worth devotion, (for different reasons) I think. I think it's very possible that they might come to mistakenly believe the other was cheating...and that's a pretty darn good idea! *G*
