You're really not missing a lot--I'm not using too much slang from that era, or nobody could understand it, and I certainly kept speech patterns and even some of the things they say are modern--here's a link t o one site with 1930s slang: http://www.just-the-swing.com/liv/jive and I'll add some more, and you know if anything puzzles you, I'm happy to explain! *petpet* Not to worry!

And skin mr jackson is just a way of saying "high five", or "slap my hand." *G*
