Make sure the new furniture is as comfortable as it is beautiful! And I'm glad you'll be able to fix the kitchen floor and the cabinets; ideally, your home should make you feel good just to be in it. *nods*

Also, my sympathies on your husband's friends' teasing. I know a guy who keeps saying things to everyone that I think he means teasingly, but which would be pretty darned nasty if he were serious, and he keeps such a straight face that I can never really be sure....
