I honestly think Dean is a little too. . . abrasive for Clark. Too caustic a sense of humor and, you know, faux-nonchalant about the "big things" -- 'cause we all know that poor guy feels everything pretty deeply, he's just pretending to be a cold bastard. . . most of the time, anyway.
So? Lex/Dean definitely. Mmmmmm, now you've got me thinkin. . . you evil vixen, you! *g*
Oh! Almost forgot, I was also gonna say that Dean might remind Clark a little of Lucas. . . well, slightly less sociopathic. But if it's Lex/Dean, then you get the added bonus of Clark being insanely, slightly repressed-ly, jealous! Jealous-Clark is one of my favorites 'cause it usually leads to sexually-aggressive-take-his-man-Clark, and that's just. . . HAWT!! XD
